It seems there is much debate about the best time to start solids foods. Old schools of thought have started to give the baby rice cereal mixed with formula in the bottle or breast milk as early as 4 months old, while the new school of thought believes that babies should start solids by the age of 4 years.
If the baby is introduced to solid food before 4 months, not only will the baby's digestive system may not be able to handle, but there is also danger of allergies and even obesity as children get older. That's safe to introduce rice cereal at 4 months. Baby you should eat more solids at the time he was 6 months because breast milk or formula that is not adequate for their needs.
First Serve Baby Rice Cereal
1. Serve your baby's first rice cereal will probably only about 1 tablespoon first. Remember that eating food from the spoon is a new experience for your baby.
